The exhibit Living As Form has ended but if you find yourself in front of the old Essex Street Market, you may still be able to get the free newspaper that Temporary Services made. Thanks to Aliya Bonar from Creative Time for dragging one of the dispensers out onto the sidewalk, where it quickly made a friend.

One of our favorite artists, Buster Simpson, designed this temporary rainwater collection system. There are holes in the roof of the Old Essex Street Market. The umbrellas were placed under the holes to gather the water and transport it to the suitcases below with grass growing in them.

Jim of Jim’s Pepper Roaster talking up a customer. Jim is 81 years young and makes the most delicious roasted red peppers you’ve ever tasted. Hopefully we’ll be able to include him again if anyone cancels. He sold everything he brought!
